Hello! Laurie is having a good morning! Dr. Carlo began weaning her vent settings more aggressively this morning and she seems to be tolerating it well. Hopefully, she has had plenty of "rest" time the last few days and will be ready to go back on the C-pap soon! There were no other changes in her care plan this morning, so her feeds are continuing at 12 cc every 3 hrs. Laurie's weight stayed the same last night at 1 lb. 7 oz. We hope this will be a quiet day and that her lungs will do well as they wean her throughout the day! We continue to see prayers being answered daily! I know this is the last thing on your mind, but if you'll tell Emily where your Aug/Sept. big box is, and where your last year's copies of lesson plans are, we'll get it to school for your sub to look through in case she needs any of it. Whatever is going to get done to be ready for open house has
to be done next week, as we are
booked solid with meetings when we
start back. I'm sorry to bother you
with these things.

I just had to send a little note to let you know you have so many praying for your family. My name is Teryan Clark and I work with Tracy Jones at Hillcrest. I was blessed with a little Lorianne 3 years ago and she has been such a blessing in our lives. After receiving the prayer request I have been keeping up with your little Laurie Anne's progress. I know you feel like it has been a roller coaster ride, but it seems that she has had so many good days to cherish and thank God for your beautiful little girl. I will continue to pray for all of you and look forward to hearing about further progress. Take care of yourself and know that you have prayers lifting you up when it seems you can't go on. I'm sure Laurie Anne's fighting spirit runs in the family.
