Praise God! We just got Laurie's Ultrasound results from the doctor, everything is normal! Thankyou so much for your prayers! It is amazing to see God working in Laurie's life. We know he is holding our baby girl and keeping her safe! Our little Laurie is a fighter! She is still eating good! Leah was released from the hospital today and will be staying with Todd at the UAB Townhouses. They have a room on the floor sponsored by the Birmingham Baptist Association. Each room on the floor is sponsored by a local church. The room they are in is sponsored by Lakeside Baptist Church. The church just remodeled the room and it it very nice. Todd loves the BIG Flat Screen TV! lol :) Leah and Todd plan to get some much needed rest tonight. Mrs.Nancy will be staying with them tonight and Mrs. Judy is staying at the hospital with Laurie. We will all be taking shifts each night. Each night someone will be there with Laurie. Please continue to Pray for Laurie, that each day she keeps growing and fighting. We thank you so much for all your prayers! We know we are being lifted up in prayer! The peace and comfort we feel is amazing! Words cannot express how gratful we are to all our prayer warriors!

God Bless~ Todd, Leah, Cole, and Laurie

Monday, June 30th 1:20 p.m.

Laurie had a great night. She's had 3 meals (each meal consists of 1/5 tsp of milk), digested it well, and has gained 2 ounces. Laurie's big brother, Cole, just met her for the first time today. He's very excited and worries about finding her some clothes! We are still awaiting the results of the ultrasound from last night (ultrasound of her head). We will post these results and any other updates as they come to us. Thanks for your prayers and please continue to pray for her growth. Pray, pray, pray that everyday is as good as today!

Laurie Anne Killingsworth

On Saturday, June 28 2008 Leah was 23 weeks and 6 days along in her pregnancy. She gave birth to Laurie Anne at 6:41 p.m. Laurie Anne weighed 1 pound 8 ounces and was 11 inches long.
She is now in the RNICU at UAB. She has been very active with her little hands. We all say she is spunky to be so little!
As I am writing this prayer request we are awaiting the doctors to do a ultra sound of the head.
She has some bruises on her head which could be a sign of a brain hemorrhage. The doctors also said it may be from the stress full delivery. Please pray for a good prognosis. After the ultra sound tonight the doctors will do another one in one week. I have posted some pictures of Laurie Anne Killingsworth. She is so pretty ! Please lift the Laurie Anne up in your daily prayers!
Also Pray for Todd, Leah, Cole and the rest of their family! Pray that God would continue to strengthen them each day and give them peace and comfort to carry them through the months to follow has Laurie gets bigger and can come home!
