Hi! Hope you are having a great Monday. Mother and I just left rounds with Laurie's doctors and they will continue to try to wean her off the C-pap today. She is still tolerating her feeds with the new schedule, so no changes there. She still weighed 1lb. 6oz. last night. Hopefully, this will be another quiet day to work on breathing and growing! Please continue praying for Laurie! We are definitely seeing God's work everyday!

Love to all,
Todd, Leah, Cole, and Laurie

GREAT!!! So glad to read the positive updates every day!! Were you able to contact the Homewood Church of Christ about their apartments? I just found out that Ben Wilks' family (his dad works with me) was able to get in one. Ben is improving, but still has a long recovery. His dad only forsees them being in Bham another couple of weeks, so that might open up an apt for you. Love to all!! Mary Sue

Praise the Lord! Laurie is a little fighter and sounds like she is winning! She is still in my prayers, as you all are.

We are keeping you in our thoughts & prayers. Glad things are progressively getting better. Your family is on our church pray list. Dr. Choquette said he will send her some gumbo & she should rapidly improve and go home in a few days. Please let us know if we can help with anything! Brandie/Andrea/Dr. Choquette - SB&J

Sounds like Laurie's doing just what she's supposed to be doing.
Enjoy that now because one day she'll be a teenager. And you'll
have gray hair like me. lol.

I play bridge with your Aunt Judy in Dallas, and she shared your blog with me.

My sister's first child, Guinn, was born at 25 weeks and weighed 1#, 11 oz. She spent 4 months in the NICU. Guinn is now a healthy, happy 11-year-old who just flew to Dallas from Georgia to spend a week with us!

Your Laurie Anne is precious! Our family will be praying for her. We look forward to following her progress.
