Hello everyone! Todd, Cole, and I arrived back to Birmingham last night after I made a whirlwind trip back home. Laurie did great with her grandmothers while I was away and has had another great day today. The doctors are not making many changes with her C-Pap rate, pressure, or oxygen settings at this time--just giving her some time to adjust. They did increase her feeds to 16 cc every 3 hours and she gained up to 2 lbs. 3 oz.!!! She also measured 13 1/4 inches long. We can see her growing right before our eyes! Thanks for your continued prayers and support. Please continue to pray for Laurie's growth. Also, pray for safety as Todd, Cole, and Mrs. Judy travel home tomorrow!

I'm so glad you had a chance to go home for a little bit, though I know your heart was in two places while you away from your sweet baby. Hooray for the weight gain and staying off the vent!
Leah- So glad to see litle Laurie continuing to grow. You & your family are in our prayers daily. Our little Mary Belle was born July 17th. We are doing fine. I am sending a bag full of newborn diapers for my mom to give your mom for Laurie in the future. Mary Belle skipped the newborn & went to size ones. God Bless our girls!!! Take care...
So excited that Laurie is doing so good. Can't believe she's gained another 3 oz!!!! Know you had a good visit at home and so glad you got to be there for Cole's first day of school.

Leah, glad that you had a little time at home with Todd & Cole. The grandmothers must have done a tremendous job because Laurie did so well. Know it was hard for you to leave her, but we know Cole enjoyed having you with him.
