Hello! Laurie is having another good day! Last night she weighed 2 lbs. 10 oz. and measured 15 inches long! What a BIG girl?! The doctors are continuing to wean her rate, pressure, and oxygen levels on the C-pap and she will have another routine eye exam later today. Although Laurie loves her "tummy time", we are trying to persuade her to try her back for awhile. In this position breathing is a little bit more of a chore for her, so her oxygen settings have been up this morning. However, she has enjoyed stretching, kicking, and moving about! Her nurse, Tatyana, said that she would let her finish her morning exercises and then turn her back to her tummy with her lunch feeding--such an exciting life here in the RNICU! Hope you all have a wonderful day! Thanks for continuing to check in on Laurie and for all your prayers! We can see them being answered each day!

You have a beautiful and precious little girl! I don't know you personally, but I check in to see how little Laurie Anne is doing everyday, and have her and your family in my prayers! I pray that she keeps gaining weight and can breathe on her own before too long! It is truly amazing to see God working right before our eyes! Continue to have him by your side thru this, and you all will be back at home and in a normal routine in no time!:)

Laurie is really growing before our very eyes! Amazing how much she weighs now and how long she is. We really enjoy the blog with the updates and especially the pictures and we even have a stack of pictures that have been printed out from the blog. We don't just look at them on the computer. Seems like we have seen her everyday since she was born and of course we have already fallen in love with her. On the days that we don't get an update, we really miss hearing from her. Please keep the pictures and updates coming!
