It is always a great day when we can snuggle!
Hello everyone! Laurie has been doing so well this week that I was able to hold her this morning for about an hour! These days are still so few, but all the more special!!! The doctors did not make any changes to her care plan today. She gained an ounce last night and weighed 2 lbs. 9 oz. Late yesterday afternoon, Laurie's nurse did do an eye culture to check for infection because it periodically "runs". We have not heard anything back on it today and "no news is good news" with all cultures! Hopefully, this is just an immature tear duct that has not opened. Please continue to pray for Laurie's lung development and that there is no infection found. Please also pray for safe travel as Todd and Mrs. Judy travel to and from Birmingham tomorrow!

Leah, it is really amazing to see how Laurie has grown! I compared the pictures of you holding her to today to those a few weeks ago. Laurie is getting to be such a big girl!! Prayers continue to be lifted that she will soon be breathing all by herself. Also, we are praying that her eyes will be perfect.
Glad that you and Judy are having some quieter days even though there had to be a WalMart trip. Ha!

That picture of you holding your baby girl is so beautiful and really touched my heart. She is growing so much and has gotten much more hair. What a sweet angel she is. Just wanted to let you know that we are thinking of y'all and continuing to lift all of you up in prayer.
